In Jordan's own words

I started in goal because nobody else wanted to, and I think that's where I learned to watch the whole field. By the time I moved to center back I was already used to seeing the play before it got to me.

What I bring that film doesn't always show is the talking. I organize the line, I tell the mid when to drop, and I'd rather win the ball with position than with a tackle. When we lost the region semifinal last spring I went back and watched every goal we gave up. Most of them were mine to prevent a step earlier, and that's what I worked on all summer.

Outside of soccer I'm in the robotics club and I work Saturdays at a bike shop. I want to study engineering, and I want to play for a program where the defenders are expected to think.
